HPB Surgery
Overview
- Liver Analysis (CT/MR) application enables simplified liver volumetry for CT and MR images, and simulations to help plan the best surgical approach, before surgery.
- Each organ, blood vessel, and other structures are automatically extracted and reconstructed as a separate 3D image, so surgeons can more easily focus on creating the best surgical plan for each patient.
- Automated volume calculation software intelligently calculates the volume of the venous drainage area, to superimpose the SPECT images for post-operative liver function considerations.
- Surgeons can also use the planned image as a visual guide during surgery.

For surgeons, you don’t have to reconstruct the liver in 3D, you can see it immediately, so your procedures can be less unpredictable, performed with less tension, and flow smoother. It works extremely fast, which is important for us, we cannot wait 30 minutes. It’s a big benefit for the patient that you can really decide where you cut according to his specific anatomy.
